This year, the company released its DigitaLinx Pro Series 8 Output-Controllable / Selectable-Voltage, Rack-Mount Power Supply ([DL-PSU8](https://secure.libertycable.com/product_details.php?pitem=DL-PSU8)) – an integrated-switching power supply designed for converting AC into DC power, a unique solution which offers all five voltages used in the vast majority of AV extension devices (5V, 12V, 18V, 24V, 48V). It is adjustable per output and capable of being remotely managed. “*The general idea of this product,”* says Kevin Peterman, Liberty’s Director of Product Management and Development*,* “*is to replace the* ‘*wall wart*’ *or inline* ‘*brick*’*-style power supplies that come with smaller AV devices such as HDBaseT extenders, fiber extenders, and other DC-powered devices, with a single-rack mountable power supply that is controllable and capable of being managed remotely*.” ![DL-PSU8-2](https://blog.libertycable.com/hs-fs/hubfs/DL-PSU8-2.png?width=600&name=DL-PSU8-2.png)Back view of Liberty AV’s DigitaLinx Pro Series 8 Output-Controllable / Selectable-Voltage, Rack-Mount Power Supply (DL-PSU8) The [DigitaLinx Pro Series 8 Output-Controllable / Selectable-Voltage, Rack-Mount Power Supply](https://secure.libertycable.com/product_details.php?pitem=DL-PSU8) won the [TWICE VIP 2020 Awards](https://www.twiceawards.com/2020/winners) for the category of Home Theater: AV Innovations and became a finalist this year at the [SCN Installation Product Awards](https://www.avnetwork.com/news/voting-opens-for-2020-scn-installation-product-awards) for Most Innovative Collaboration Product. This device allows integrators to create a truly professional rack build-out avoiding banks of wall warts that tend to fail. It allows users to adjust and switch the voltage for each output channel on/off via front panel buttons, RS232 / IP commands, or using the built-in webGUI. TCP/IP control offers remote management from remote monitoring and management platforms, which conveniently allows support teams to easily power cycle a device for trouble shooting, and it allows them to do so per individual device. Therefore, the entire house/system does not need to be power cycled for the sake of one room. Very few competitive power supplies offer all five of the voltage options that the DigitaLinx Pro Series 8 Output-Controllable / Selectable-Voltage, Rack-Mount Power Supply ([DL-PSU8](https://secure.libertycable.com/product_details.php?pitem=DL-PSU8)) offers – most power supplies only focus on two or three voltages that fit their product line. *Learn more on the* [*Liberty AV website*](https://secure.libertycable.com/)*.
